Terms of Service & Disclaimers

Effective September 23, 2026. These Terms govern your use of treelawleads.com (the "Site") and, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the case-origination services offered by TreeLawLeads ("TreeLawLeads," "we," "us"). By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to them.

1. What TreeLawLeads is, and is not

TreeLawLeads is a marketing and case-origination company. We advertise to property owners who believe trees on their land were wrongfully cut, damaged, or destroyed; collect and organize the information they provide; and offer the resulting case file to one law firm at a flat price.

We are not a law firm. We do not practice law, give legal advice, evaluate the legal merits of any claim, or represent property owners or firms. Nothing on the Site, in a case file, or in our communications is legal advice, and no attorney–client relationship is formed with us by anyone. Firms exercise their own independent professional judgment about whether to accept any matter and how to handle it.

We are not a lawyer referral service. We do not recommend, rate, endorse, or vouch for any particular attorney to property owners, and we do not match owners to lawyers based on any assessment of the lawyer. Property owners who contact us are told that participating firms pay TreeLawLeads for case files and that they are free to hire any lawyer they choose.

2. Who may use the services

Case files are offered only to law firms and attorneys licensed and in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction, acting on behalf of a firm. By requesting a case you represent that this is true and that you are authorized to bind your firm.

3. Fees

Case prices are flat fees for marketing, advertising, and intake services. They are set by bracket, quoted with each case offer, charged only when a firm accepts a case, and are subject to change. Fees are never contingent on, or calculated from, the outcome of a matter, the amount recovered, or the fee a firm earns, and TreeLawLeads does not receive any share of any legal fee. Reviewing or declining a case costs nothing. Prices shown on the Site are current list prices for illustration and are not offers.

4. Your professional obligations

Rules governing lawyer advertising, payment for marketing and lead generation, fee-sharing, solicitation, and referral arrangements differ by state and change over time. You are solely responsible for determining, before participating, that your use of our services complies with the rules of professional conduct, advertising rules, and any registration or disclosure requirements of every jurisdiction in which you practice or in which a matter arises. Statements on the Site describing how our model is structured are descriptions of our practices, not legal opinions that any arrangement is permissible in your jurisdiction. If a rule in your jurisdiction would be violated by your participation, do not participate.

5. Exclusivity and what a case file is

When a firm accepts a case, we do not offer that case file to any other firm. A case file consists of information supplied by the property owner and third parties, organized by us. We make reasonable efforts to confirm basic facts before listing a matter, but we do not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of any information, do not guarantee that any evidence exists or is admissible, and do not represent that any claim has merit or value. Firms must conduct their own investigation, conflict check, and evaluation. If a case file materially misstates what the owner told us, contact us; our remedy policy is set out in the firm agreement.

6. No guarantee of results; illustrative figures

Every dollar figure on the Site — estimated claim ranges, "sample fees," return multiples, monthly "fee potential," and the amounts on sample case cards — is a hypothetical illustration built from stated assumptions (typical appraised values, a 2–3× statutory multiplier where one applies, a one-third contingency, and mid-range resolution). They are not projections, averages, typical results, or guarantees. Actual outcomes depend on the facts, the evidence, the applicable law and its willfulness standard, the defendant's ability to pay, and the firm's work, and may be zero. Past results, including public verdicts and settlements listed on the Site, do not predict future outcomes.

Sample case cards are anonymized, illustrative composites of typical matters and do not describe cases currently available. Statistics about our operations are as of the date stated or, if none, approximate and subject to change.

7. Site content, blog, and public-record listings

Articles, statute summaries, and the verdicts-and-settlements listing are general information for attorneys. Statutory citations, multipliers, and case law are summarized as of publication and may be superseded; verify the controlling authority before relying on any of it. The verdicts-and-settlements page describes public matters as reported by the third-party sources linked from each entry; we were not involved in those matters, have no affiliation with the parties, counsel, or publications, and do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party reporting. Amounts marked as claimed, sought, or confidential are not recoveries.

8. Acceptable use; intellectual property

You may use the Site for lawful purposes connected with evaluating our services. You may not scrape, copy, or republish Site content or case files except as we permit in writing, misrepresent your identity or licensure, submit false information, interfere with the Site, or use case-file information for any purpose other than evaluating and handling the matter. Site content is owned by or licensed to TreeLawLeads and protected by copyright and trademark law.

9. Communications

By submitting a form you agree that we may contact you by email and, if you give us a number, by phone or text message about your inquiry and our services. Consent is not a condition of purchase; reply STOP to end texts or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Message and data rates may apply.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, AND OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT A CASE FILE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR HAS ANY PARTICULAR VALUE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREELAWLEADS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST FEES, OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM THE SITE OR OUR SERVICES, HOWEVER CAUSED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO A CASE FILE IS LIMITED TO THE FEE PAID FOR THAT CASE FILE, AND FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM TO ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify TreeLawLeads against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any professional-conduct or advertising rule, or your handling of any matter.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which TreeLawLeads is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive relief.

14. Changes; entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date; continued use after that is acceptance. A signed firm agreement controls over these Terms where they conflict. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
